After years of letting my brewing equipment sit idle , I broke down and bought a
stainless 12 gallon fermentor. It has a few advantages over the standard 5
gallon glass carboy . Obviously the capacity is a bonus, but it is also capable
of fermenting the entire batch without racking from primary to secondary fermentors . The spent yeast can be dropped out bottom dump valve.
